Our Year-Round Family Housekeeping Cottage Resort is located on the famous Lake of Bays, Ontario. Lake of Bays is the 2nd largest lake in Muskoka - surpassed only by Lake Muskoka. It has 330 miles of shoreline fed by the beautiful Oxtongue River - a lovely destination for canoes and boats alike. With over 1200’ of beachfront at Bondi, there is plenty of room for everyone to relax, unwind or play! Our shallow sandy beachfront facing South West on Lake of Bays near Dwight, Ontario ensures a secluded, sheltered base for all your summer fun!
Swimming & Watersports
Our large main dock, two rafts, and inflatable water toys are fantastic for swimming and watersports. Our kid’s sand pile and play cabin are located along the beachfront as well. A canoe is included with each cottage rental and we have a variety of other boat rental options including motorboats, kayaks, and stand up paddleboards available to our guests. We have launching facilities and dock space for guests wishing to bring their own boats as well as fuel.
We've taught generations of kids how to waterski! Since 1905 we've been building memories for families from around the world. We also offer regular ski runs as well as tubing rides to our resort guests.

PADDLE BOAT USE
We have a shared paddle boat that is included with your stay. It is kept at the main dock area; 2 people maximum and lifejackets/safety pack are required.
CANOE USE
One canoe with two padddles and two adult lifejackets are included with your stay. All of these items are labelled with your cottage name and the canoe will be locked to the rack, usually the nearest to your cottage, and will be unlocked with your key. Please place your canoe back on its rack at the end of your stay. Please let our staff know if there are any issues with the canoe or equipment when you arrive and when you are ready to check-out. Renters are responsible for any damage to the canoe or for missing items.

All motorized & non-motorized boat rentals are subject to fuel costs & applicable taxes. Your rental will have a full tank of fuel at your start time and you will be charged for any fuel used throughout your rental at current marine fuel rates.
Lifejackets are supplied for all rentals. By law, each person aboard the boat must have a suitable lifejacket. We have a variety of lifejacket sizes however if you have small children we may not have a suitable size, so please bring your own.
Alcohol is STRICTLY prohibited! Absolutely NO alcohol is permitted on board any watercraft, including passengers. In Ontario, the fines and penalties for a person drinking and boating are the same as those for drinking and driving and may result in suspension of your driver's license. There are no exceptions to this law and the Ontario Provincial Police regularily patrol Lake of Bays. This includes non-motorized watercraft.
The renter/operator is responsible for safe use and any accidental damage. It is the responsibility of the renter for safe operation, care, and return of all rental equipment.
A valid boaters license is required for all motorized boat rentals.
No watercraft are permitted to be used 30 minutes prior to sunrise or past sunset. For insurance reasons, watercraft must not be used outside of these windows.

If you require more detailed operating instruction or if any laws are unclear it is your responsibility to ask our staff before leaving on your vessel.
Costs and repairs from accidental damage (beyond normal wear from use) is the sole responsibility of the renter. Please note, accidental damage such as, but not limited to, running into submerged items, rocks or other boats, wrapping fishing line or mooring lines into the propeller, damage from beaching on rocks, sand, or the shoreline are beyond normal wear and will be subject to the full cost of repairs as a result of such damage. Additionally, lost equipment is the renter's responsibility.
Fishing at Bondi Village, Lake of Bays
Try your fishing skills against lake trout and bass. With over 300 miles of shoreline, Lake of Bays offers incredible fishing opportunities! Lake trout, brook trout, whitefish, pike, smallmouth and largemouth bass are all on the menu!
We offer motorized aluminum boat rentals to access fishing spots around Lake of Bays, some parts of the lake are over 230’ deep!
Activities for all ages & interests!
Enjoy your summer vacation with our wide selection of activities including shuffleboard, badminton, horseshoes, basketball, and volleyball. Play some table tennis or games in our recreation hall or explore Bondi’s hiking trails.
If you prefer to relax and unwind, our 1,200’ sandy beach with lounge furniture is the perfect place to catch some sun and enjoy the spectacular views out onto Lake of Bays. Enjoy summer at your own pace!
We also offer an onsite 12 hole disc golf course, with equipment for the enjoyment of our guests!
